01

Context & goal

Learning effectively depends as much on content as on method: some students remember best with revision sheets, others through practice, others through repetition and testing.

LearnFlow aims to offer a flexible system that adjusts to each student’s profile.

02

How LearnFlow works

A simple sequence — diagnosis → plan → practice → assessment → adjustment — recalibrated at each step based on results and consistency. A typical learning path:

  1. 1
    Diagnosis

    Short starting quiz

Estimating the level and spotting weak topics.

  2. 2
    Plan

    Targeted summary + sheet

Content focused on the weak topics identified.

  3. 3
    Practice

    Guided exercises

Instant corrections and explanations: mistakes become progress.

  4. 4
    Assessment

    Validation quiz

Progress is updated based on the results.

  5. 5
    Adjustment

    Challenge / level

Motivation and consistency; the path is recalibrated.

Content formats

Summaries

Short version to quickly grasp the key ideas.

Revision sheets

Structured version: definitions, methods, common mistakes.

Exercises

Progressive practice with controlled difficulty.

Quizzes

Quick validation, memorisation and level tracking.

Personalisation & gamification

4 adaptation criteria

Level
Actual starting point: basics, intermediate, advanced.
Pace
Study frequency and available time.
Gaps
Blocking topics, identified through mistakes and quizzes.
Goal
Catching up, exam, continuous improvement.

Result: a path that avoids “doing everything” and focuses effort where it matters most.

Gamification (useful, not a gimmick)

Levels
Short, achievable goals (e.g. “master 1 topic”).
Challenges
Mini-challenges: time, exercise streaks, quiz score.
Progress
Bar and levels to visualise progress.
Badges
Rewarding effort: consistency, perseverance.

What this project highlights

  • Ability to structure a solution around a user need (the student).
  • “Product” mindset: learning path, engagement, iterations, feedback.
  • Designing simple, effective personalisation logic.
  • Results-oriented gamification: motivation and visible progress.

Next steps

  • “Revision” mode: spaced repetition + automatic reminders.
  • Dashboard: progress per chapter + clear indicators.
  • Content library: reusable templates for sheets and exercises.
  • Finer recommendations based on recurring mistakes.
